Citrus Group are keen to hear your views on a proposed second phase of development at Integra 61 to deliver around 300,000sqm of employment floorspace and create between 3,500 and 4,500 new jobs. The proposal aims to capitalise on the success of the first phase of development, which is now 90% built-out, to create one of the most important employment locations in the region. It is envisaged that across both sites around 6,000 jobs will be created. The development will bring forward a number of industrial storage/distribution and manufacturing units not dissimilar to phase 1 along with associated landscaping and other infrastructure.
The forthcoming planning application will also facilitate the delivery of the Bowburn Development Route (relief road) which is likely to be delivered in conjunction with Durham County Council. This will assist in the redistribution of traffic across the network, reducing traffic within Bowburn Village and assisting in the operation of Junction 61 of the A1(M).
Details of the proposal, its background and the benefits it will bring are contained on the display boards in the Downloads button below. Once you have had a chance to review this information, please feel free to send us an email with your comments at integra61phase2@lichfields.uk
