McMullen Real Estate Joins Agency Roster To Service Occupier Demand
Citrus Durham has strengthened the roadside agency team at its £400m mixed-use Integra 61 development with the appointment of specialist retail and leisure advisor, McMullen Real Estate to join existing roadside agent, Colliers.
The appointment follows sustained demand from retail, leisure and roadside occupiers seeking to join the current high-profile tenant line-up at the Integra 61 development. The roadside offering is currently experiencing high levels of activity with work underway on EG On The Move (EGOTM)’s new £4 million petrol filing station, separate convenience store and Starbucks drive-thru which will sit alongside existing drive-thru units for Greggs and Costa Coffee and the 19 Tesla Superchargers which opened last year.
Construction is also underway on Marton Care’s new 73 bedroom care home facility to complement the 260 new homes already developed by Persimmon and Bellway.
McMullen Real Estate delivers specialist retail and leisure advice to major UK occupiers and Landlords and has extensive experience across all national markets, including the North East.
Andrew Solman, Senior Acquisitions Surveyor at Citrus Group, said: “As a genuinely mixed-use development, Integra 61 has significant appeal to operators seeking footfall from the thousands of people working, living and visiting the scheme on a daily basis. This is in addition to the high volume of passing traffic on the A688. Due to the variety of plot sizes and development options available, we can cater to a wide range of businesses and have brought McMullen Real Estate on board to manage the interest from potential occupiers.”
Graham Phillips, Retail Director at McMullen Real Estate, said: “We are delighted to join Colliers on the roadside agency team of Integra 61, an important well-located mixed-use development on the outskirts of Durham. We are confident that the high footfall from other tenants on the development and the high traffic flows on A688 will enable us to secure further occupiers to complement the existing retail offer.”
Integra 61 is a logistics-led mixed use scheme spanning 205 acres at J61 of the A1(M) and is home to Amazon’s 2 million sq ft Fulfilment Centre, with over 1,000 employees on site. A further 640,000 sq ft of speculative logistics space in 5 units, known as Connect at Integra 61, has completed on site. Serviced plots are available on the remainder of the site to accommodate a wide range of unit sizes to suit occupier-specific requirements.
